Due to the rapid  change  in technology,  businesses  prefer  to track  monetary  transactions using computerized system and the advancements in information technology have eventually led to the introduction  of  Computerized  Accounting  Systems (CAS) to  help  produce  relevant,  trusted,  and representative  financial reports for both management and external users for decision-making without errors.  The shifting from conventional accounting system in Libyan organizations to Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS) resulted in some company’s staff’s resistance on the adoption of the new technologies. Therefore, this study aims to examine the Influence of Critical  Factors  on the Behavior Intention to Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS) In Cement Manufactures  In Libya which are, Performance    Expectancy,   Effort   Expectancy,   Facilitating  Conditions,   Self-efficacy  and   Task- technology fit (TTF) to accountant  Behavioral  Intentions  (ABI) of using (CAS) in Libyans cements organizations. This study utilized quantitative  research  method and survey questionnaires  distributed 240  forms to  employee  of in  accounting  and  finance  department  in  four  biggest  Libyan  cement manufacturers,  Al- Murgab,  Lubda,  Souk Al khamis  and  Zalitan.  The 189 returned forms were analyzed using PLS software.  The result  of analysis  hypothesis revealed  that  there  is a significant effect among  all  variables  to  Behavioral  Intentions,  but,  only,  Effort  Expectancy  does  not  have impacts   on   the   Behavior   Intention   to   Computerized   Accounting   Systems  (CAS)  In   Cement Manufactures In Libya.

This study examines the factors influencing accountability practices in funds management of local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Yemen. A total of 75 local NGOs operate in Yemen, receiving local and foreign funding. A structured online questionnaire was employed for data collection. This study found that accountability was not widely practiced among the NGOs in Yemen. The level of accountability practices of these NGOs was significantly influenced by funding competition and perceived motive. The results of the study offer important implications for both policymakers and NGOs. The relevant regulatory bodies must formulate policies to enhance the NGOs’ accountability for improved efficiency and transparency. The NGOs, on the other hand, are expected to be transparent in ensuring the resources are well managed, and services are delivered efficiently and effectively to the recipients.

Factors influencing accountability practices in managing NGOs funds

The primary objective of an accounting function in an organisation is to process financial information about the activities of the organisation and prepare financial statements at the end of the accounting period. The modern method of accounting is based on the system created by an Italian monk Fra Luca Pacioli. He developed this system over 500 years ago. This great and scientific system was so well designed that even modern accounting principles are based on it (deSantis, 2010).

Section 123 of Ghana’s Companies Code (1963), Act 179 obliges all companies to keep proper books of accounts with respect to their financial positions and changes therein. These books shall be kept in respect of all sums of money received and expended by, or on behalf of the company and the matters in respect of which the receipt and expenditure takes place; all sales and purchases by the company of property, goods and services; the assets and liabilities of the company and the interests of the members therein.
