Stöber silica particles as basis for redox modifications: Particle shape, size, polydispersity, and porosity
TL;DR: The synthesis of Stöber silica particles as basis for redox modifications is optimized for desired properties, in particular diameter in a wide sub-micrometer range, spherical shape, monodispersity, the absence of porosity, and aggregation free isolability for characterization and later covalent modification.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diffusion coefficient of ferrocene in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate – concentration dependence and solvent purity
TL;DR: In this paper, the ionic liquid l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate is used as electrolyte in the electrochemical determination of the diffusion coefficient of ferrocene as a function of concentration by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combinatorial microelectrochemistry: Development and evaluation of an electrochemical robotic system
Thomas Erichsen,Sabine Reiter,Victoria Ryabova,Eva M. Bonsen,Wolfgang Schuhmann,Wolfgang Märkle,Carsten Tittel,Günther Jung,Bernd Speiser +8 more
TL;DR: An electrochemical robotic system using standard microtiter plates as reaction wells for potentiostatic and galvanostatic electrosynthesis and high-throughput electroanalysis was conceived and realized using stepmotor driven positioning stages in combination with a flexible software.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical oxidations Part IV. Electrochemical investigations into the behaviour of 2,6-di-tert-buthyl-4-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)phenol Part 1. Phenol and the species derived from it: phenoxy radical, phenolate anion and phenoxenium cation
Bernd Speiser,Anton Rieker +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the anodic oxidation of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)phenol (IIa) was investigated by cyclic voltammetry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dinuclear Coinage-Metal Complexes of Bis(NHC) Ligands: Structural Features and Dynamic Behavior of a Cu–Cu Complex
Verena Gierz,Alexander Seyboldt,Caecilia Maichle-Moessmer,Karl W. Törnroos,Michael T. Speidel,Bernd Speiser,Klaus Eichele,Doris Kunz +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 2,2′-bipyridine analogue, the pyridazine annelated bis(N-heterocyclic carbene) ligand (vegi) 1, was prepared and structurally characterized.
