iQAN: Fast and Accurate Vector Search with Efficient Intra-Query Parallelism on Multi-Core Architectures

TL;DR: iQAN as mentioned in this paper proposes a parallel search algorithm with a set of optimizations that boost convergence, avoid redundant computations, and mitigate synchronization overhead to speed up the state-of-the-art graph-based vector search systems on multi-core architectures.
Journal ArticleDOI

1D Gradient-Weighted Class Activation Mapping, Visualizing Decision Process of Convolutional Neural Network-Based Models in Spectroscopy Analysis.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors developed a novel visualization algorithm (1D Grad-CAM) to more accurately display the decision-making process of the CNN-based models for 1D spectroscopy.

Achieving Real-Time Object Detection on MobileDevices with Neural Pruning Search.

TL;DR: In this article, a compiler-aware neural pruning search framework was proposed to achieve high-speed inference on autonomous vehicles for 2D and 3D object detection, which automatically searches the pruning scheme and rate for each layer to find a best-suited pruning for optimizing detection accuracy and speed performance under compiler optimization.
