Estimation of surfactant activity of polluted seawater by kalousek commutator technique
TL;DR: In this article, the Kalousek commutator technique was applied to the estimation of surfactant activity of seawater samples from polluted area of a harbour, which is recommended for direct and rapid determination of the degree of ocean pollution by organic surface active substances.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of the adsorption of organic substances at a mercury electrode by the Kalousek commutator technique
Boena Ćosović,Marko Branica +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the polarographic method of discontinuously changing potential (4-128 Hz) known as the Kalousek commutator technique was used for the study of adsorption-desorption phenomena of tri-n-butyl phosphate, thymol and sodium lauryl sulphate on the mercury from aqueous solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of some mixtures of surface active substances at the mercury electrode
TL;DR: In this article, the capacity current measurements using the polarographic method of discontinuously changing potential known as the Kalousek commutator technique were used to study the adaption behavior at the mercury electrode of some mixtures of surface-active substances, relevant and important for natural and polluted seawater.
