The study was conducted in Kerala state in 2021–2022, with the objective of identifying the constraints related to effective role performance as perceived by the Field Extension Functionaries (FEFs) of the Dairy Development Department (DDD). Through non-proportionate stratified random sampling, a sample of 120 FEFs was chosen, of whom 60 were Dairy Extension Officers (DEOs) and 60 were Dairy Farm Instructors (DFIs). The study found that inadequate infrastructure facilities and lack of transport facilities were the major physical constraints perceived by the respondents. Among organisational constraints, inadequate staff strength and heavy administrative work were cited as the major constraints. The most significant technological constraints perceived were inadequate knowledge about dairy innovations among the farmers and lack of technical support for implementing schemes. Inadequate budget allocation for programme execution and lack of monitoring and evaluation of schemes were the major managerial constraints. Under communication constraints, weak research-extension-farmer linkage, and lack of feedback from farmers were perceived as the major ones.

Wildfires are a worldwide natural disaster causing important economic damages and loss of lives . Early detection and prediction of fire spread can help reduce affected areas and improve firefighting. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles were employed to tackle this problem due to their HIGH flexibility, their low-cost, and their ability to cover wide areas during the day or night. However , they are still limited by challenging problems such as small fire size, background complexity, and image degradation .To deal with the limitations, we adapted and optimized Deep Learning methods to detect wildfire at an early stage. A novel deep ensemble learning method, which combines EfficientNet-B5 and DenseNet-201 models, is proposed to identify and classify wildfire using aerial images.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly expanding field that the world needs. It is frequently used in scenarios where a group of intelligent robots utilize their intelligence to weaken human power. Whether we realize it or not, artificial intelligence plays a vital role in our daily lives. Artificial intelligence and machine learning have replicated human brain processes to offer the more what it wants and to help society go technologically advanced with digital evolution. The state and emotion of a driver can be predicted using machine learning techniques, which can then be utilized to deliver information that will increase road safety. It uses artificial intelligence in some way. The face, a crucial bodily feature, communicates a lot of information. Facial expressions, such as blinking and yawning more frequently than usual, differ from those in a normal state when a driver is fatigued. Systems can automatically learn and develop without being explicitly programmed thanks to artificial intelligence. Bio-indicators, a driver’s conduct while driving, and facial expressions can all be used to gauge a driver’s health. We give an exhaustive survey of driver sleepiness detection and alert systems in this study. We also discuss various machine learning methods that are utilized to assess the driver’s condition, including NumPy, the HOG algorithm, the SVM algorithm, the HAAR-based cascade classifier, and OpenCV. Finally, we list the difficulties that the present systems are facing and discuss the corresponding research potential.
