Journal ArticleDOI

Bedrock detection beneath river terrace deposits using three-dimensional electrical resistivity tomography

TL;DR: In this article, a 3D electrical resistivity (3D ERT) was used to identify the steepest gradient in first-derivative resistivity profiles, which yields an estimate of bedrock depth (verified by drilling) to a precision better than 0.2m.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Geophysical Quality Assessment of Sand and Gravel Deposits

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of the geophysical assessment of the deposits using resistivity and EM methods were compared with a variety of drilling methods, with ground truth obtained by direct sampling of the samples as the working face of the quarry moved through the areas of study.

WARM-IT Waste minimisation by the application of integrated technology

TL;DR: In this article, the authors published a report of the Mineral Industry Sustainable Technology Programme (MIST), Final Reports, 2004-2007, MA/4/2/002, pp. 39-42, Impact Mitigation and Management.
