Accurate computation of F′(x) and F′(x) F″(x)

TL;DR: Romberg's method gives fast convergence to an answer containing more significant digits than usual methods provide and is applied to improve the accuracy in the computation of the first and second derivatives of a real function.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two algorithms for the calculation of F′(x) = D

TL;DR: In this paper, Newton-Raphson and Ostrowski's "square root" methods are applied to solve the equation F *(x ) = D. Because the magnitude of the interval determines the computation accuracy, a fast converging algorithm must be used.
