Journal ArticleDOI

Serological comparisons of avian reoviruses.

TL;DR: The results obtained suggested that there are at least 11 serotypes of avian reovirus, and all of the strains used cross-reacted in the agar gel precipitin test except the Kosters strain.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of antibodies against infectious bursal disease virus: a comparison of three serological methods

TL;DR: Four different oil emulsion infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) vaccines were inoculated into four-week-old specific pathogen-free chickens and sera were obtained and examined for antibodies against IBDV by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), the quantitative agar gel precipitin (QAGP) test and the virus neutralisation (VN) test.
Journal ArticleDOI

Canine parvovirus serology: a collaborative assay.

TL;DR: Fifteen laboratories were supplied with coded samples of canine sera for testing for the presence of antibodies against canine parvoviruses, and it was found that the variability of the results between laboratories could be partly controlled by the use of the standard serum.
Journal ArticleDOI

The stability of live Newcastle disease vaccines.

TL;DR: Live Newcastle disease vaccines from seven manufacturers were examined for their stability, in terms of virus content, when stored at 37°C for one week and at 4°C until their expiry date.
