On Green’s function retrieval by iterative substitution of the coupled Marchenko equations
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose an iterative substitution of the coupled Marchenko equations to retrieve the Green's functions from a source or receiver array at an acquisition surface to an arbitrary location in an acoustic medium.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Inversion of the multidimensional marchenko equation
TL;DR: In this paper, it has been shown that the Marchenko equation can also be inverted directly for the focusing functions, which can be used for seismic imaging of complete wavefields, including not only primary reflections but all orders of internal multiples.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface wave retrieval in layered media using seismic interferometry by multidimensional deconvolution
TL;DR: In this article, a multidimensional-deconvolution (MDD) scheme based on an approximate convolution theorem is proposed. But the MDD scheme is only valid for horizontally layered media that are laterally invariant, and includes exclusively multicomponent point-force responses (rather than their spatial derivatives) and multic-component observations.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Creating virtual vertical radar profiles from surface reflection ground penetrating radar data
TL;DR: In this paper, a focusing wavefield is constructed to focus at the chosen location in the subsurface that is then the virtual receiver location for the vertical radar profile Green's function.
