Preparation and characterization of ceria nanospheres by microwave-hydrothermal method
M. L. dos Santos,Renata C. Lima,Carla dos Santos Riccardi,R. L. Tranquilin,Paulo Roberto Bueno,José Arana Varela,Elson Longo +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a simple and fast microwave-hydrothermal method at 130°C for 20min was used to synthesize crystalline ceria (CeO2) nanoparticles, which were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TG-DTA), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy/STEM mode (FEG/STEM), Fourier transformed-IR and RAMAN spectroscopies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of CeO2 by a simple microwave–hydrothermal method
Carla dos Santos Riccardi,Renata C. Lima,M. L. dos Santos,Paulo Roberto Bueno,José Arana Varela,Elson Longo +5 more
TL;DR: Cerium carbonate hydroxide (orthorhombic Ce(OH)CO 3 ) hexagonal-shaped microplates were synthesized by a simple and fast microwave-hydrothermal method at 150°C for 30 min this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rietveld analysys and electrical properties of lanthanum doped BiFeO3 ceramics
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of the preparation route on the structural and morphological characteristic of the obtained materials and their influence on the electrical behavior was highlighted, and a homogeneous size distribution of BFO powders was evidenced by scanning electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Piezoelectric biosensors for real-time monitoring of hybridization and detection of hepatitis C virus.
TL;DR: Piezoelectric biosensors were used in a flow-through setup for direct monitoring of DNA resulting from the reverse transcriptase-linked polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification of the original viral RNA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Label-Free DNA Detection of Hepatitis C Virus Based on Modified Conducting Polypyrrole Films at Microelectrodes and Atomic Force Microscopy Tip-Integrated Electrodes
Carla dos Santos Riccardi,Christine Kranz,Janusz Kowalik,Hideko Yamanaka,Boris Mizaikoff,Mira Josowicz +5 more
TL;DR: This biosensing scheme was finally extended to the electrochemical detection of DNA at submicrometer-sized DNA biosensors integrated into bifunctional atomic force scanning electrochemical microscopy probes.
