Reliability of scoring arousals in normal children and children with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
TL;DR: It is proposed that scoring of arousals in children should follow the standard ASDA criteria, and it is concluded that there is much poorer interscorer agreement for scoring arousals shorter than 3 seconds, when compared to the standard AsDA criteria.

TL;DR: It is concluded that children with OSAS have normal ventilatory responses to hypercapnia, and they may have normal vents to hypoxia, and it is speculated that abnormal central ventilatories drive plays little if any role in the pathogenesis of pediatric OSAS.
