Histologic demonstration of accessory muscular connections between auricle and ventricle in a case of short P-R interval and prolonged QRS complex
TL;DR: Serial histologic sections of a portion of the auriculoventricular groove showed three muscular connections at the right lateral border of the heart between the right auricle and right ventricle, which furnishes further support for the hypothesis of an accessory pathway of auricuentricular conduction as an explanation for this electrocardiographic anomaly.
