The invention discloses a method and device for generating a square array vector beam by using a two-dimensional grating and a prism. The device comprises a laser source, an expanded beam collimatingmirror, a polarizer, a cascading light path, a first beam splitting prism, a first light path, a second light path and a second beam splitting prism; a laser beam emitted by the laser source is expanded by the expanded beam collimating mirror to form a large-aperture parallel beam; the parallel beam passes the polarizer to be polarized and then passes the cascading light path to form four parallellight beams; the four light beams irradiated on the first prism are divided into two-path light which are irradiated on the first light path and the second light path correspondingly, and the light is reflected to the second beam splitting prism by the first light path and the second light path correspondingly, and a square array vector beam is obtained by superposition of the two-path light passing the second beam splitting prism. According to the method and device for generating the square array vector beam by using the two-dimensional grating and the prism, radial polarized light converters or angular space polarized light converters can be got rid of, and the energy utilization rate of an optical system is improved.

The invention discloses a Gouy-phase-based vector vortex light generating device comprising two non-polarized transmission layers and two polarized transmission layers (2). One non-polarized transmission layer is connected with one corresponding polarized transmission layer to form an integrated unit. The device is composed of two symmetrically-placed axis cone mirrors and a cylindrical inner reflector which are arranged in a nesting mode; a circular polarization light beam with plane wave front is used for vertical incidence, and incident light irradiates the cylindrical inner reflector at a specific divergence angle after the incident light is deflected by the first axis cone mirror; the incident angle of the incident light to the cylindrical inner reflector satisfies the Brewster's law, and the reflection light of the incident light only reserves an S polarization component (the vibration direction is perpendicular to the incident plane); the reflection light continues to focus and irradiate the second axis cone mirror at the same angle, and a rotation polarization vector light beam with plane wave front is obtained after deflection, wherein the absolute value of the phase vortex topological-charge of the light beam is 1.
