Cathodoluminescence from organic bilayer induced by field electron emission of carbon nanotubes

TL;DR: In this article, the role of both electron and hole transport layers on stability and spectrum of cathodoluminescence of organic bilayer structures is discussed, and carbon nanotubes are used as efficient cathodes for stable CL emission from organic multilayer heterostructures.

Production and application of ribbon and sheet of nanofiber and twisted yarn and non-twisted yarn of nanofiber

TL;DR: In this paper, a yarn, ribbon and sheet of carbon nanotubes are described. And they provide the following unique properties and property combinations, for example: extreme toughness; resistance to failure at knots; high levels of electrical and thermal conductivities; high absorption of energy that occurs reversibly; up to 13% of strain-to-failure as compared with a few percent in other fibers with similar toughness; very high resistance to creep; retention of strength even when heated in air at 450°C for one hour; and very high radiation resistance and UV resistance even when

Fabrication et applications de rubans, feuilles et fils retors ou non de nanofibres

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a set of properties of nanotubes de carbone presentant des proprietes ou combinaisons de proprietes uniques, including extreme tenacite, resistance a la rupture des noeuds, a conductivite electrique and thermique elevee, and a forte absorption reversible d'energies.
