Bullying is a challenge concerning us all, and particularly our children. This has already been acknowledged by CHI, among others. Despite the interest, there is a lack of comprehensive understanding of the state of the art – a critical review is needed, addressing bullying in the lives of children, in the context of and/or by the means of design and technology, covering CHI as well as related computing fields, being inspired by the strong body of knowledge within human sciences. We report on a comprehensive literature review on the topic, with the aim to understand what and how has been done so far to handle this troublesome and widespread phenomenon as well as to indicate how to move the field forward. We report how the topic has been examined and with what kind of means tackled, revealing interesting underlying assumptions about design, technology and human agency.

The Impact of Risk-Aware Consumer Trust on CB E-Commerce Platforms and Purchase Intention

Numerous applications are available on the Internet for the exchange of personal information and money. All these applications need to authenticate the users to confirm their legitimacy. Currently, the most commonly employed credentials include static passwords. But people tend to behave carelessly in choosing their passwords to avoid the burden of memorizing complex passwords. Such frail password habits are a severe threat to the various services available online especially electronic banking or e-banking. For eradicating the necessity of creating and managing passwords, a variety of solutions are prevalent, the traditional ones being the usage of One- Time-Password (OTP) that refers to a single session/transaction password. However, a majority of the OTP-based security solutions fail to satisfy the usability or scalability requirements and are quite vulnerable owing to their reliance on multiple communication channels. In this study, the most reliable and adoptable solution which provides better security in online banking transactions is proposed. This is an initiative to eradicate the dependency on Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) that is the most popular means of sending the One- Time-Passwords to the users availing e-banking facilities.

The sudden attack of the new coronavirus in 2020 has brought an unprecedented impact on the real estate market economy and has completely disrupted people's work and life rhythms! With the rapid development of the internet, the internet has penetrated into all aspects of people's lives. As soon as e-commerce was introduced, it was loved by the majority of young people and brought tremendous changes to people's lives. As an important pillar industry of the national economy, real estate lacks a better e-commerce model and is still in the traditional sales model, waiting for customers to come. With the advent of the era of big data, breakthroughs in IT technology have made the collection, analysis, and processing of big data a reality, which makes it possible for big data to provide guidance for the development of e-commerce. As traditional processing technologies and ways of thinking gradually fail to meet application requirements, people have reached a consensus that big data will trigger the next revolution in the e-commerce industry, and how to make the real estate industry develop better in this revolution has become a reality. Based on this, this paper studies a real estate virtual e-commerce model based on big data. In the study of this model, this paper combines the advantages of e-commerce and virtual communities to design a more effective virtual e-commerce model that collects the data of virtual e-commerce platforms for analysis and processing, accurately obtains the needs of customers, provides customers with more reasonable options to meet their needs, and promoted the healthy development of the real estate industry. The analysis of e-commerce and virtual communities shows that the virtual e-commerce model designed in this paper is a more effective model, and the real estate virtual e-commerce model based on big data technology can serve the real estate industry and do a good job in the sales reform of the real estate industry.

Research and Analysis of a Real Estate Virtual E-Commerce Model Based on Big Data Under the Background of COVID-19

The advancement of computing power on mobile devices and their popularity among people in performing sensitive data exchange is uncovering an urgent need for a highly secure solution than the existing ones. The need for such a security solution persists that should be able to thwart not only the contemporary threats but also offer continued support without bowing down to progression in technology. Though some security solutions have been contemplated, a lack of standardised or absolute security solution which can provide a feasible and secure solution to mobile phones exists. In this paper, a survey based on various biometric and non-biometric access management schemes has been performed. The copious solutions put forward by researchers so far were discovered to fail in traits like user adaptability and efficiency. Each of the works put forward by various researchers has been single-handedly contemplated followed by analysis. Ultimately, open problems and challenges were inferences from the survey conducted.

E-Commerce Security and Identity Integrity: The Future of Virtual Shopping

In any commercial applications, users need a secure model to protect their transactions. The behavioral biometric such as voice and signature is dynamic, naturally involves cognitive experience and controlled by human beings. This could be seen when user changes their signature or voice given different situations. As a result, users would be more convinced to use behavioral biometric for authentication against fingerprint, which is physiological and static. Fingerprint biometric stemmed from a number of predicaments with prove of stolen, artificial and cut-off finger cases. The dilemma to use either behavioral or physiological biometric delves in as the accuracy of behavioral biometric is not as reliable as physiological biometric. The physiological biometric such as fingerprint and iris recognition are unique and cannot be mimicked by others easily. In addressing this gap, an authentication framework combines a unique physiological fingerprint and permutated sequence, known as behavioral fingerprint is proposed in this paper. Behavioral fingerprint authentication serves as a firewall to block or delay unauthorized access to a security system if user's fingerprint was lost or compromised.

Behavioral Fingerprint Authentication: The Next Future

An effective approach to enhance the understanding of bully and cyber bully concepts among students is through edutainment learning process. This objective is achieved by designing and developing an Android-based app in this paper, namely #StopBully. The app consists an opening splash video which depicts the broken friendship as a result of bullying. There are six features proposed in this app. Firstly, an informative page of Befrienders information is provided. Secondly, an emergency button is embedded so that user could contact the authority to report bullying cases easily. Next, an edutainment games is designed which deepens the user's knowledge on #StopBully concepts. Subsequently, users are tested via quizzes on the amount of information that they have obtained from using the app. The concept of cyber bully is introduced through a series of animated comic strips. Finally, cyber bullying prevention videos are designed to educate users to avoid being a victim of cyber bully in the virtual realms. An experimental analysis was carried out to a total of 30 undergraduate students from Multimedia University, Malacca Campus, Malaysia. There exists significant difference in the mean and standard deviation of the pre-test and post-test analysis. The findings further reveal that this app is an effective tool to learn, enhance and concretize the theory of #StopBully.

Biometrics in Tourism: Issues and Challenges

Biometrics fingerprint recognition technology has been installed in Malaysia’s Immigration to tackle the problem of immigrants’ influx and overstayers, and to increase the total security of border control. This mandatory system is used by all inbound tourists travelling to Malaysia. Since there is no alternative to the biometrics fingerprint system, it raises the importance to assess what affect tourists’ satisfaction in using the biometrics fingerprint system. In this paper, a conceptual framework of tourists’ satisfaction based on Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory is proposed. Seven variables used to assess tourists’ perception are categorized as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, physical privacy, accuracy, information privacy and contamination fear. The first five refer to performance expectations which tourists could anticipated before the actual use of the biometrics fingerprint system. As a result, these expectations will be either positive disconfirmed (experience exceeds expectations), negative disconfirmed (experience falls short of its expectations) or reached the congruency level (expectations are confirmed). Mixed-method approach will be used for data collection from a sample of 500 target participants. Consequently, data analysis will be conducted to summarize and interpret the relationship between the variables. It is expected that the research findings will provide useful insights for policy makers, government, and industries.
