The role of peer influence on girls’ body dissatisfaction and dieting
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of various dimensions of peer influence on body dissatisfaction and dieting via internalization of the thin ideal and social comparison have been analyzed. But the results indicated that peer attributions and appearance conversations with friends had a direct effect on girls' dissatisfaction levels.
