Influence of temperature, chloride ions and chromium element on the electronic property of passive film formed on carbon steel in bicarbonate/carbonate buffer solution

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of temperature, chloride ions and chromium element on the electronic property of passive film formed on carbon steel in NaHCO 3 /Na 2 CO 3 buffer solution is investigated by capacitance measurement and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Influences of pH value, temperature, chloride ions and sulfide ions on the corrosion behaviors of 316L stainless steel in the simulated cathodic environment of proton exchange membrane fuel cell

TL;DR: In this paper, 316L stainless steel is in the passive state in a simulated cathodic environment, and the passivity of 316L SS is enhanced with increasing pH value, decreasing temperature, decreasing chloride ions and sulfide ions concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characteristics of CO2 corrosion scale formed on N80 steel in stratum water with saturated CO2

TL;DR: In this article, the component and structure of CO 2 corrosion scale formed on N80 tubing steel were studied by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Xray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM); the electrochemical property of N80 steel covered by corrosion scale was investigated by EIS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of potentiostatic aging, temperature and pH on the diffusivity of a point defect in the passive film on Nb in an HCl solution

TL;DR: In this article, the transport property of a point defect in the passive film was characterized by the diffusivity of the point defect and the steady-state current density, and the influence of the potentiostatic aging, temperature and pH on the D 0 and i ss were analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photo-electrochemical analysis of passive film formed on X80 pipeline steel in bicarbonate/carbonate buffer solution

TL;DR: In this article, photo-electrochemical measurement was used to explore the formation potential, formation time, chloride ions concentration, applied potential and pH value of the solution on the electronic property of passive film formed on X80 pipeline steel in 1.M NaHCO 3 /0.5 m Na 2 CO 3 buffer solution.
