Journal ArticleDOI

Specific effects of the benzodiazepine midazolam on visual receptive fields in light and dark adapted human subjects.

TL;DR: The threshold in the inhibitory region of receptive fields was specifically increased in a dose-dependent manner by midazolam PO, and the visual system may be a model to bridge the gap between animal and human psychopharmacology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improving foveal avascular zone segmentation in fluorescein angiograms by leveraging manual vessel labels from public color fundus pictures.

TL;DR: Experimental evaluation on two datasets with FA from clinical routine and large multicenter clinical trials shows that the addition of weak RV labels as a guidance during training improves the FAZ segmentation significantly with respect to using only manual FAZ annotations.
