Characterization of Monoenergetic Low Energy Neutron Fields with the μTPC Detector

TL;DR: In this paper, a micro-time projection chamber is developed to measure low-energy neutrons with energy ranging from 2 keV up to 1 MeV, and simulations show that such a detector, which allows the measurement of the ionization energy and the 3D reconstruction of the recoil nucleus, provides the determination of neutron energy and fluence of such low energy neutrals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Testing Gaussianity on Archeops Data

TL;DR: In this article, a Gaussianity analysis using a goodness-of-fit test and the Minkowski functionals on the sphere has been performed to study the measured Archeops Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) temperature anisotropy data for a 143 GHz Archeops bolometer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Production and measurement of neutron reference fields : the AMANDE facility and MIMAC prototype as neutron detection system

TL;DR: In this paper, a gaseous Time Projection Chamber (μ TPC) is developed within the MIMAC project devoted to directional Dark Matter search. And the μ TPC is dedicated to measure neutron fields from 2 keV up to 1 MeV.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Development of Large Bolometer Arrays for Submillimeter and Millimeter Astronomy

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the research led in France in this domain, where the expected sensitivity increase is the key for the next generation of cameras at the focal plane of submillimeter and millimeter telescopes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Work Hardening Analysis in a Lean Duplex Stainless Steel 2304 after Low Deformation by Cold Rolling

TL;DR: In this paper , the deformation mechanism of lean duplex stainless steel (LDSS) is investigated by tensile test on low deformed cold-rolled samples (4-22%) of a 2304 LDSS.
