Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluating tracer selection for catchment sediment fingerprinting
TL;DR: In this article, a new approach to tracer selection based on identifying and removing tracers that exhibit non-conservative behaviour during sediment transport is presented, where tracer-particle size relationships and source mixing polygons are used to identify and remove tracers.
Journal ArticleDOI
The physiological and psychosocial effects of forest therapy: A systematic review
TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide an in-depth analysis of current forest therapy research, from physiological and psychosocial perspectives, to provide a systematic summary of current Forest therapy research and to encourage healthcare professionals and the general public to fully utilize forest therapy as a form of preventive medicine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hyperspectral remote sensing for assessment of chlorophyll sufficiency levels in mature oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) based on frond numbers: Analysis of decision tree and random forest
Amiratul Diyana Amirruddin,Farrah Melissa Muharam,Mohd Hasmadi Ismail,Mohd Firdaus Ismail,Ngai Paing Tan,Daljit Singh Karam +5 more
TL;DR: Results from this study showed that the chl-sensitive wavelengths mostly belong to the red-edge region and importantly, they were frond age-dependent, meaning that the classification accuracy tended to decrease as frond gets older, and the execution of frond 9 was more ideal than frond 17 for monitoring chl content of mature oil palm via remote sensing.
Journal Article
The relationship between soil pH and selected soil properties in 48 years logged-over forest
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between soil pH and selected soil biological and chemical properties was investigated, and the best linear regression model for soil microbial biomass C, soil microbial N and total Fe with soil pH were found to be (ln (Biomass C) = 4.534 ln (Soil pH), with = 0.996) (ln [1] = 3.621).
Journal ArticleDOI
An overview on the preparation of rice husk biochar, factors affecting its properties, and its agriculture application
Daljit Singh Karam,Daljit Singh Karam,Prakash B. Nagabovanalli,Keeren Sundara Rajoo,Che Fauziah Ishak,Arifin Abdu,Zamri Rosli,Farrah Melissa Muharam,Dzarifah Zulperi +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compile studies related to rice husk biochar properties and factors affecting it and application of rice hull biochar in Asian agriculture and compile a review article.
