Time-resolved X-ray study of poly(aryl ether ether ketone) crystallization and melting behaviour: 1. Crystallization
TL;DR: In this paper, the average lamellar thickness lC was calculated as the product of LMC and xCL during crystallization at temperatures of 230-310°C, and the bulk degree of crystallinity (by weight), ψC, was determined by WAXD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Time-resolved X-ray study of poly(aryl ether ether ketone) crystallization and melting behaviour: 2. Melting
TL;DR: In this paper, the melting behavior of poly(aryl ether ether ketone) (PEEK) was studied using time-resolved small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) to study the melting behaviour of PEEK, and two types of long period (LB and LMC) were determined by using Bragg's law and the correlation function, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
The essential role of hydrophobic interaction within extracellular polymeric substances in auto-aggregation of P. stutzeri strain XL-2
TL;DR: In this paper , a comprehensive correlation analysis indicates that hydrophobic interaction within extracellular polymeric substances played essential roles in auto-aggregation, which may enrich the understanding of microbial aggregates formation and lead to further application of strain XL-2 in wastewater treatment processes.
