Developing the criminal self: mead's social psychology and sutherland's differential association
TL;DR: In this article, a criminal self, rooted in language and its relation to others, is articulated in the behavior which brings about those relations, and the conceptualization of the criminal self is developed through the exploration of three areas that connect Mead to Sutherland: general notions on the genesis of the self that focuses on play; the acquisition of specific content in that development focusing on game.

Natural disasters, convergence, and four‐wheel drive “machines”: An emergent form of deviant behavior
