A data acquisition device, which has an X-ray detector including a plurality of channel widths at which channels at its central portion are fine and channels at its peripheral portions are coarse or rough, and a plurality of data acquisition ranges including a data acquisition range wide in a channel direction and a data acquisition range narrow in the channel direction, and which is capable of performing switching among the data acquisition ranges for each data acquisition, is used to perform data acquisition on the channels fine at the central portion in the data acquisition range narrow in the channel direction, whereby an X-ray CT apparatus is provided which is capable of performing high-resolution imaging and brings about more satisfactory image quality.

There is provided a radiation CT radiographing device in which the object can be photographed at arbitrary resolution during the photographing, a fluctuation of a radiation source during the photographing can be detected without using a special detector and corrected in accordance with its detection amount.

An X-ray inspection device includes an X-ray detecting unit, a determining unit, and an output unit. The X-ray detecting unit is configured and arranged to detect a level of X-rays passing through an article. The determining unit is configured to determine a state of the article based on a detection level of the X-rays detected by the X-ray detecting unit using a plurality of thresholds including a first threshold and a second threshold for a single determination criterion. The output unit is configured and arranged to output a result of determination made by the determining unit.

X-ray inspection device

A calibrated real-time, high energy X-ray imaging system is disclosed which incorporates a direct radiation conversion, X-ray imaging camera and a high speed image processing module. The high energy imaging camera utilizes a Cd-Te or a Cd-Zn-Te direct conversion detector substrate. The image processor includes a software driven calibration module that uses an algorithm to analyze time dependent raw digital pixel data to provide a time related series of correction factors for each pixel in an image frame. Additionally, the image processor includes a high speed image frame processing module capable of generating image frames at frame readout rates of greater than ten frames per second to over 100 frames per second. The image processor can provide normalized image frames in real-time or can accumulate static frame data for substantially very long periods of time without the typical concomitant degradation of the signal-to-noise ratio.

High energy, real time capable, direct radiation conversion X-ray imaging system for Cd-Te and Cd-Zn-Te based cameras

A dosimetry device for charged particle radiation that can be exclusive of cables and connectors between substrates is provided. A plurality of first electrodes are formed on one surface of a printed circuit board, a second electrode substrate having a second electrode opposing each of the plurality of first electrodes through an ionized space is provided, and a signal processing circuit is provided on the other surface opposing the surface of the printed circuit board. The signal processing circuit includes at least one amplifying circuit, a plurality of integrating capacitors corresponding to the amplifying circuit for integrating charge at each corresponding one of the first electrodes, and at least one selector switch that switchably connects each of the integrating capacitors to the amplifying circuit. The printed circuit board may be a multi-layer printed circuit board.

SOLUTION: The radiation detector has a scintillator 9 for converting incident X-rays from the surface side into light, a photodiode chip 2 having a photodiode 3 for converting the light thus converted into an electrical signal, a switching chip 4 having a transistor 5 for reading out a signal from the photodiode 3, and a data collecting chip 8 for amplifying and digitizing a signal thus read out, and the photodiode chip 2, the switching chip 4 and the data collecting chip 8 are mounted commonly on a rigid multilayer wiring board 30.
