The present invention provides a heterocyclic compound and an organic light-emitting device including the heterocyclic compound. The organic light-emitting devices using the heterocyclic compounds have high-efficiency, low driving voltage, high luminance and long lifespan.

Organic light-emitting device

Provided is an organic electroluminescence device having high luminous efficiency, high heat resistance and an extremely long lifetime. The organic electroluminescence device of the present invention includes an organic thin film layer composed of one or more layers containing at least a light emitting layer is interposed between a cathode and an anode. The light emitting layer includes a compound containing a condensed ring and a luminescent metal complex capable of emitting light having a red-based color. It is preferable that the compound containing a condensed ring includes a host material, while the luminescent metal complex capable of emitting light having a red-based color includes a phosphorescent dopant.

Organic Electroluminescent Device

An electroluminescent device comprises a light-emitting layer containing a host and a light-emitting material wherein the light-emitting material comprises a boron complex containing boron complexed by two ring nitrogens of a deprotonated bis(aromatic)amine or bis(aromatic)methene ligand wherein the boron complex contains a tertiary amine substituent group. The invention provides a material for a light-emitting layer of an EL device that exhibits improved luminance efficiency.

Organic element for electroluminescent devices

Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent element which is excellent with respect to luminous efficiency and driving voltage and rarely undergoes initial luminance drop. Specifically disclosed is an organic electroluminescent element which comprises, on a substrate, a pair of electrodes composed of an anode and a cathode and a light-emitting layer arranged between the electrodes, and additionally comprises at least one organic layer arranged between the light-emitting layer and the cathode, where in the light-emitting layer contains, for example, a compound (A-1), and the at least one layer arranged between the light-emitting layer and the cathode contains, for example, a compound (e-4).

Organic electroluminescent element

It is an object of the present invention to provide a light-emitting element having a structure in which the drive voltage is relatively low. Further, it is an object of the invention to provide a highly reliable light emitting device by alleviating the stress to the light emitting layer. Further, it is another object of the invention to provide a light emitting element having a structure in which increase in the drive voltage over time is small. It is an object of the present invention to provide a display device in which the drive voltage is low and increase in the drive voltage over time is small and which can withstand long-term use. In a light emitting element, a layer in contact with an electrode serves as a hole generating layer such as an organic compound layer containing a P-type semiconductor or an electron accepting material, a light emitting layer is provided between hole generating layers, an electron generating layer is formed between the hole generation layer on the cathode side and the light emitting layer.

SOLUTION: The organic EL element consists of an organic compound of a fluorescent nature which works as a recombination center and emits light between a substance layer of a hole transportation nature which consist of an organic compound and a substance layer of an electron transportation nature which consists of an organic compound. Moreover, the organic EL element is obtained by forming an island-like shape thin film having an average film thickness which is thinner than the film thickness of the single molecule film of the above organic compound of the fluorescent nature.

Manufacturing method of silicon substrate for solar battery

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solar battery with good mass-productivity by which a porous layer can be formed at a low cost without generating harmful gases as by-products. SOLUTION: By dipping a polycrystalline silicon substrate into a mixed aqueous solution of an oxidant such as a hydrogen peroxide and a hydrofluoric acid which contains silver ions, a porous silicon layer is formed on the surface of the substrate. SOLUTION: A semiconductor crystal substrate such as silicon or the like is formed with a surface electrode composed of one kind or more selected from metals such as silver, copper, nickel, platinum, palladium and gold, having a catalyst function of a reduction reaction for an oxidizer such as hydrogen peroxide or the like. This semiconductor crystal substrate is dipped in an aqueous solution containing the oxidizer and hydrofluoric acid if required, with the result that the reflection preventing film composed of a porous layer is formed around the surface electrode.
