TL;DR: The authors conducted an ethnographic study on the daily practice of participants in grade 9 and 10 Academic Science teachers in Ontario, and found that the dominant constitutions of nature often assume nature is simply the material to study, from which scientific knowledge can be obtained, with little ethical or moral consideration about nature itself.
