Design Considerations for Very High Frequency dc-dc Converters

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe several aspects relating to the design of dc-dc converters operating at frequencies in the VHF range (30-300 MHz) and treat the design considerations in the context of a DC-dc converter operating at a switching frequency of 100 MHz.
Journal ArticleDOI

Elastic relaxation model for seismic wave attenuation in the earth.

TL;DR: In this paper, the intrinsic internal friction (Q −1 ) at each depth is taken to be due to a single thermally activated relaxation mechanism and the intrinsic Q −1 is completely specified by a simple function of frequency, temperature, and pressure.
