Journal ArticleDOI

Interception of tetrahedral intermediates in Pd(II)-mediated cycloalkenylations of olefinic enol ethers

TL;DR: In this paper, the tetrahedral intermediate has been intercepted during Pd(II)-cycloalkenylation of olefinic enolsilane 1 (R=SiMe2t-Bu).
Journal ArticleDOI

Preliminary evaluation of isocyanate-generating nitroheterocycles as chemosensitizers, radiosensitizers and hypoxic cell cytotoxic agents

TL;DR: Experimental studies indicate that the addition of a side chain capable of generating an isocyanate can enhance the cytotoxicity and sensitizing activity of nitroheterocycles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancement of 1-(2-chloroethyl)-3-cyclohexyl-1-nitrosourea (CCNU) toxicity by acetohydroxamic acid analogues of 3-nitropyrazole in vitro.

TL;DR: A strong correlation was established between hypoxic toxicity and chemosensitizing potency and several potent chemosENSitizing compounds were identified; some of which were 10–50 x 's more potent on a molar basis than Misonidazole, the reference chemosensing compound.
