Journal ArticleDOI
Using greenhouse gases in the synthesis gas production processes: Thermodynamic conditions.
Jerzy Szczygieł,Katarzyna Chojnacka,Dawid Skrzypczak,Grzegorz Izydorczyk,Konstantinos Moustakas,Marek Kułażyński +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the thermodynamic analysis of CH4 reforming with various oxidants (CO2, H2O, O2) in the technological variants DRM (Dry Reforming of Methane) and TRM (Tri-reforming of methane) technological variants is discussed.
Book ChapterDOI
Smart fertilizers—toward implementation in practice
Dawid Skrzypczak,Katarzyna Mikula,Grzegorz Izydorczyk,Rafał Taf,Aleksandra Gersz,Anna Witek-Krowiak,Katarzyna Chojnacka +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , four groups of innovative smart fertilizers were characterized: hydrogel, capsule, and nanofertilizer, and they showed a controlled release of microelements.
Book ChapterDOI
Adsorption of Phosphates on Modified Eggshells - Batch and Fixed-Bed Column Process
Dawid Skrzypczak,Katarzyna Mikula,Daria Kocek,Grzegorz Izydorczyk,Rafał Taf,Anna Witek-Krowiak +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a method for removing phosphate from an aqueous solution using iron (III) chloride-modified eggshells was developed, and the physicochemical properties of the modified biomass (FTIR, pHPZC) were examined.
Book ChapterDOI
Granulation as the method of rational fertilizer application
Grzegorz Izydorczyk,Katarzyna Mikula,Dawid Skrzypczak,Anna Witek-Krowiak,Katarzyna Chojnacka +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the technical aspects of the granulation process are described, and the advantages and disadvantages of using granulated fertilizers compared to foliar fertilization are discussed. But, despite several weaknesses, soil fertilization is a rational way to support agricultural production.
Book ChapterDOI
Agrochemicals in view of circular economy
Katarzyna Mikula,Aleksandra Gersz,Anna Witek-Krowiak,Dawid Skrzypczak,Grzegorz Izydorczyk,Katarzyna Chojnacka +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors presented the production of agrochemicals following the concept of the circular economy and the benefits and limitations related to the transition of the economy model from linear to a closed-loop were also presented.
