Abstract: The existing online adaptive feedback cancellation (AFC) for active noise control (ANC) system provides poor performance when the ANC output gets correlated with the primary input signal. In this paper, this situation has been analyzed and two new weight constrained adaptive algorithms such as error square constrained algorithm (ESCA) and correlation constrained algorithm (CCA) are proposed. The computer simulation results demonstrate that these algorithms provide better cancellation property compared to that of the reported ones.
