Free Radicals: Properties, Sources, Targets, and Their Implication in Various Diseases
TL;DR: The free radicals induced oxidative stress has been reported to be involved in several diseased conditions such as diabetes mellitus, neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, cardiovascular disease, respiratory diseases, cataract development, rheumatoid arthritis and in various cancers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of short term exposure of atrazine on the liver and kidney of normal and diabetic rats.
Dinesh Babu Jestadi,Alugoju Phaniendra,Undru Babji,Thupakula Srinu,Bhavatharini Shanmuganathan,Latha Periyasamy +5 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that short term exposure of atrazine at a dose of 300 μg kg−1 could potentially induce oxidative damage in liver and kidney of both normal and diabetic rats.

Quercetin Attenuating Doxorubicin Induced Hepatic, Cardiac and Renal Toxicity in Male Albino Wistar Rats
TL;DR: Assessment of the possible protective role of quercetin on doxorubicin induced hepatic, cardiac and renal toxicity in male Wistar rats found it unlikely that the drug would cause much effect on the tissues such as liver, heart and kidney.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Atrazine on Reproductive Health of Nondiabetic and Diabetic Male Rats
Dinesh Babu Jestadi,Alugoju Phaniendra,Undru Babji,Bhavatharini Shanmuganathan,Latha Periyasamy +4 more
TL;DR: Nonsignificant decrease in the activities of antioxidant and steroidogenic enzymes and sperm parameters suggests that atrazine did not produce any effect on reproductive system of rats, and Histological findings revealed that low dose of atrazines did not show reproductive toxicity in rats.
