Abstract This study aims to describe the perspective of mathematics teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of elementary school students, how the factors that cause learning difficulties and the solutions offered related to the difficulties faced by teachers in the learning process in elementary schools. This study utilizes a qualitative approach, while the type of research used is descriptive. The research subject is the fourth-grade elementary school teacher. The data collection in this research are structured interviews and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that there are many perspectives of teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties which include: 1. The presence of internal factors and external factors to the causes of student learning difficulties; 2. There are difficulties that are often encountered by mathematics teachers in learning; 3. The teacher's strategy in overcoming student learning difficulties. The solution offered in overcoming difficulties in the mathematics learning process is to do 6M, namely; 1). Collaborating with parents so that they can support, guide, and direct students in learning. 2). Ensure student readiness and focus for learning. 3). Provide learning motivation to students both from the teacher and the family environment. 4). Using interesting strategies and media. 5). Provide space for exploration. 6). Give questions or tests to the student's ability

This study aimed to describe the development of augmented reality-based interactive multimedia to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school teacher education students in learning earth structure and fisheries material science. This type of research was research and development by Sukmadinata consisting of preliminary studies, model development, and model testing. The research subjects were elementary school teacher education students at Sebelas Maret University, Indonesia. The technique of collecting data used tests, questionnaires, and observations. The collected data was then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative data analysis used the interactive models of Miles and Huberman and quantitative data analysis using a paired sample t-test. The results of the study show that the development of media products determines indicators of learning, programming, display, and curriculum. The main field test obtained ρvalue = 0.002< 0.05, it can be decided that H0 rejected. Students think critically using augmented reality-based interactive multimedia better than before using it. At present, it is obtained interactive multimedia based on augmented reality that is feasible to use in accordance with the views of experts and users.

Tulisan ini bertujuan hendak mengelaborasi sejumlah pemikiran dan konsep yang meyakini pentingnya pembelajaran berbasis daring dalam rangka mewujudkan kemandirian belajar dan sebagai respon perkembangan informasi dan teknologi yang cepat pada era industri 4.0. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan cara mengumpulkan literatur (bahan-bahan materi) yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber lainnya terkait dengan pembelajaran daring dan kemandirian belajar. Hasil kajian menyimpulkan bahwa model pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis daring terdiri atas: (1) model daring yang hanya melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa sebagai peserta; (2) model daring yang melibatkan tiga pihak, yaitu mahasiswa, mentor, dan dosen. Pada kedua model tersebut dapat terjadi interaksi secara synchronous, yakni  interaksi belajar pada waktu yang bersamaan seperti dengan menggunakan video call, telepon atau live chat . Interaksi juga dapat terlaksana dengan cara asynchronous, yakni interaksi belajar pada waktu yang tidak bersamaan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah disediakan secara elektronik dengan menggunakan forum atau message . Dengan adanya pembelajaran berbasis daring, nmahasiswa atau peserta lebih mandiri belajar dengan kata lain senantiasa tidak tergantung kepada orang lain, menetapkan tujuan belajar, mendiagno­sis kebutuhan belajar, memiliki rasa percaya diri dan tanggung jawab serta mel­akukan evaluasi diri

Historical learning has not reached optimal in the learning process. It is caused by the history teachers’ learning model has not used the innovative learning models. Furthermore, it supported by the perception of students to the history subject because it does not become final exam (UN) subject so it makes less improvement and builds less critical thinking in students’ daily learning. This is due to the lack of awareness of historical events and the availability of history books for students and teachers in the library are still lacking. Discovery learning with scientific approach encourages students to solve problems actively and able to improve students' critical thinking skills with scientific approach so student can build scientific thinking include observing, asking, reasoning, trying, and networking.

The Implementation of Discovery Learning Model with Scientific Learning Approach to Improve Students’ Critical Thinking in Learning History

The role of the media cannot be separated from the learning process. Along with the development of science and technology, teachers can use it in the learning process. The development of powtoon-based video learning media in social studies subjects is motivated by the lack of instructional media used by teachers in learning activities. This study aims to: 1) develop video learning media on IPS subjects for five elementary school classes, and 2) determine the feasibility of learning video media based on experts and students. This study uses a type of research and development (R & D) developed using the ASSURE model. The steps of this study are 1) Analysing the characteristics of the learner, 2) Stating objectives, 3) Selecting Methods, media, and materials 4) Utilising materials 5) Requiring the participation of learners, and 6) Evaluation and revision. This study was conducted in four of the six stages of ASSURE. The results of research are 1) the media developed in the form of the powtoon-based video learning device. 2) the result of validation of media experts developed is 4.20 with good category, 3) the result of material validation on media is 4.19 with good category, 4) validation of product test result one-to-one is 4.07 with a very good category, small group trials 4.32 with a very good category; and field trials at 4.19 with a good category. Thus, the powtoonbased video learning media developed is feasible to be used as a learning medium. Keywords— instructional media; social studies; powtoon app

Developing Powtoon-Based Video Learning Media for Five Grade Students of Elementary School

Traditional art is a regional art as a part of national culture that must be preserved. Jaranan Pogogan is a traditional dance from Nganjuk. Jaranan Pogogan has been developing since 1950 but gradually became extinct in the 1980’s. The aim of the author is to raise the theme that Jaranan Pogogan can be preserved by the younger generation, with the theme of traditional arts expected to raise student interest in learning history. The research method used in this paper is qualitative and literature study data for data collection. The data obtained in this study passes the data analysis procedure that occurs simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or data verification. The data generated in this study shows the relationship between the values of Jaranan Pogogan which is original of Nganjuk culture as a historical learning for the next generation that upholds the noble values, local wisdom and manners.

The Existence of Jaranan Pogogan in Sugihwaras, Prambon, Nganjuk, Indonesia

The purpose of this research is to discuss the development of material that supports the history of the struggle of K.H Gholib, who then compiles it into an e-book using the software "Flip PDF Professional 2.4.6.8". It was developed separately to analyze the material and increase student interest in Private Vocational High Schools in Pringsewu District b y instilling the values of nationalism, heroism, and patriotism of a religious figure and fighter who participated in the struggle for independence in Lampung from the attack of the Dutch Military Aggression II in 1949. The research method used was the research and development of "R&D". The focus of e-book development uses the ADDIE development model through five intoxices, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The final results of this study show how the preparation and implementation of e-books in the classroom, so that the product developed can foster student interest in learning.
