TL;DR: In this article, the quantum theory of photodetection in the presence of feedback was proposed, based on the continuous measurement theory and the master equation for the detector-field-source system.

To conclude, there is a number of relatively low-threshold nonlinear and quantum optical phenomena in pure vacuum. Manifestations of vacuum polarization can be observed in laser facilities now in existence. Both wavefront conjugation schemes and extremely sensitive laser polarimeters appear to be promisinE. by the usual beam-splitter. At the same time a quantum nondemolition measurement for such extraction was proposed. In this report we show that Glauber's photodetection theory is inapplicable to the description of such a scheme, and propose the quantum theory of photodetection in the presence of feedback, based on the continuous measurement \-,--,. theory and the master equation for the detector-field-source system. As a result QFC8 1015 we obtain that in the experiment described above the state of the field is the Quantum theory of continuous non-stationary coherent state I .(I)), its 3.
