Journal ArticleDOI

Adsorption of phenols from wastewater.

TL;DR: Coal, residual coal, and residual coal treated with H3PO4 as a means of removal of phenol from wastewater is investigated and the results showed that the equilibrium data for all the phenol-sorbent systems fitted the Redlich-Peterson model best.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synergistic effect of graphene/multiwalled carbon nanotube hybrid fillers on mechanical, electrical and EMI shielding properties of polycarbonate/ethylene methyl acrylate nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of MWCNT hybrid filler on electrical, mechanical, thermal and electromagnetic interference shielding properties of nanocomposites was investigated, and the results showed an increase in mechanical properties, electrical conductivity and EMI shielding for composites having hybrid filler.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biohydrometallurgy for Nonsulfidic Minerals—A Review

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a literature on the dissolution of nonsulfidic minerals using heterotrophic microorganisms, which is an important aspect of biohydrometallugy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biodesulfurization of dibenzothiophene, its alkylated derivatives and crude oil by a newly isolated strain Pantoea agglomerans D23W3

TL;DR: In this article, Pantoea agglomerans D23W3 was found to degrade 93% of the Dibenzothiophene (DBT) within 24h of culture.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal and catalytic decomposition of waste plastics and its co-processing with petroleum residue through pyrolysis process

TL;DR: In this paper, an attempt has been made to review the literature on cracking of plastics waste and it's co-processing with petroleum residues and other heavy oil, the types of reactors and the catalyst employed in the process.
