Diffusing wave spectroscopy

TL;DR: A phenomenological model, which exploits the diffusive nature of the transport of light, is shown to be in excellent agreement with experimental data for several different scattering geometries, and the dependence on geometry provides an important experimental control over the time scale probed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diffusing-wave spectroscopy : dynamic light scattering in the multiple scattering limit

TL;DR: In this article, a simple theory of diffusing wave spectroscopy (DWS) based on the diffusion approximation for the transport of light is developed to calculate the temporal electric field autocorrelation functions of multiply scattered light.
