On the melt equilibria in the Y-Ba-Cu-(O) system

TL;DR: In this article, a new method for the determination of melt equilibria has been developed to clear some aspects of the phase relationships in the Y-Ba-Cu-(O) system at 950°C in air and at 975°c in oxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI

SQUID behavior at liquid nitrogen temperature in high-Tc superconductors of the type Y−Ba−Cu−O

TL;DR: In this article, a multiply-connected quantization loop with a Josephson weak link was proposed for high-Tc superconductor YBa2Cu3O9−y.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charge distribution, pressure and composition effects of CuOx based superconductors

TL;DR: In this article, pseudobinary cuts between YBa2Cu3Ox, Y2BaCuO5, BaCuO2 and YO1.5-BaO-CuOx phase diagrams are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid-liquid equilibria and crystallization in the Bi-Sr-Cu-(O) system

TL;DR: In this article, phase relationships in a part of the Bi-Sr-Cu-(O) system were investigated in order to determine approximate boundaries of liquid, liquid+solid and two solids+liquid regions at 800°C and for 850°C, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

On phases and characterisation of quenched YBa2Cu3Ox

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that quenching of the YBa 2 Cu 3 O x melt at different cooling rates yields (besides the known phases of Y 2 O 3, CuO, BaCuO 2 and Y 2 BaCu O 5 ) some unidentified phase(s) other than YBa 4 Cu x O x and YBa x Cu 3 o x.
