Similarities and differences between non-radiographic and radiographic axial spondyloarthritis: The patient perspective from the Spanish atlas.

Journal ArticleDOI

Thu0003 altered dna methylation and differential expression of genes influencing cardiovascular risk and immunity in cd4+ t cells from subjects with psoriatic arthritis.

TL;DR: The degree of methylation of these genes was significantly associated with cIMT, arterial pressure, and endothelial microvascular function, which helps understanding of the pathogenesis of PsA and advance epigenetic studies in regards to this disease and the cardiometabolic comorbidities associated.
Journal ArticleDOI

AB0124 Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells from Ankylosing Spondylitis Patients Display An Atherogenic Profile Associated with Disease Activity and Endothelial Dysfunction

TL;DR: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells from AS patients display an altered expression profile of key genes involved in the development of atherosclerosis, suggesting that highly inflammatory PBMCs are responsible, at least partially, for the endothelial dysfunction displayed by AS patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fri0321 utility of the asas health index questionnaire as a tool for health assessment in patients with spondyloarthritis and its association with disease activity, functionality, mobility, and structural damage

TL;DR: The impairment of the quality of life in patients with SpA was mainly associated with a high disease activity, worsening functionality (BASFI) and with the presence of concomitant fibromyalgia, and neither structural damage nor mobility seem to influence thequality of life.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

THU0297 Evaluation of cardiovascular risk factors among patients with psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis and peripheral spondyloarthritis
