The Use of the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) as a Time Transfer System

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the performance of using dual frequency GPS satellite measurements corrected by the WAAS broadcast data for time and frequency transfer and found that the directional antenna should eliminate the effects of multipath and could potentially provide a very clean continuous signal.

Time Transfer Using WAAS: An Initial Attempt

TL;DR: The Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) as discussed by the authors is a GPS satellite-based augmentation system that will be used for navigation within the National Airspace System (NAS), consisting of a multitude of ground reference stations and several geo-stationary communication satellites.
