TL;DR: In this article, the anti-reflection coating comprises an eighth-wave layer of silica and an eighth wave layer of a fluorinated polymer, and the index of refraction of at least 1.6.
Abstract: Photographic images, particularly multicolor images, viewed through a transparent support have an anti-reflection coating on the outer surface of said support. The anti-reflection coating comprises an eighth-wave layer of silica and an eighth-wave layer of a fluorinated polymer. The images may be formed by multicolor diffusion transfer processes using dye developers or other image dye-providing materials. In the preferred embodiments, the photographic image is an integral negative-positive reflection print. Where photoexposure is effected through a transparent support, e.g., the transparent support through which the final image is viewed, provision of an anti-reflection coating and effecting photoexposure therethrough will permit more effective recording of light passing through the camera lens. The transparent support preferably has an index of refraction of at least 1.6.

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-developing movie ensemble is shown with two RECTANGULAR Sheets in face-to-face relation, and a BINDING Sheet is used to hide the presence of a VISCOUS LIQUID PROCESSing agent.
Abstract: A PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM ASSEMBLAGE OF THE SELF-DEVELOPING TYPE COMPRISING A PHOTOSENSITIVE LAYER ON ONE OF A PAIR OF SHEETS INCLUDING A RECTANGULAR AREA ADAPTED TO BE EXPOSED AND PROCESSED BY SUPERPOSING THE SHEETS AND ADVANCING THEM RELATIVE TO AND BETWEEN A PAIR OF JUXTAPOSED PRESSURE-APPLYING MEMBERS TO DISTRIBUTE A VISCOUS LIQUID PROCESSING AGENT IN A THIN LAYER BETWEEN THE SHEETS FROM THE LEADING EDGE OF THE EXPOSED AREA TO THE TRAILING EDGE THEREOF. THE ASSEMBLAGE INCLUDES SPACING LAYERS AT THE LATERAL MARGINS OF THE AREA, TAPERED IN THICKNESS FROM A MAXIMUM NEAR THE LEADING EDGE TO A MINIMUM NEAR THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE AREA. A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT SHOWN IS A SELF-DEVELOPING FILM UNIT COMPRISING TWO RECTANGULAR SHEETS SECURED IN FACE-TO-FACE RELATION BY A BINDING SHEET SECURED TO THE SURFACE OF ONE OF THE SHEETS AND HAVING MARGINAL SECTIONS FOLDED AROUND THE LATERAL AND TRAILING END EDGES OF THE SHEETS AND SECURED TO THE MARGINS OF THE OTHER SHEET. THE BINDING SHEET IS FORMED WITH A RECTANGULAR OPENING THROUGH WHICH A LAYER OF PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL BETWEEN THE SHEETS IS EXPOSED AND/OR A VISIBLE IMAGE FORMED BETWEEN THE SHEETS IS VIEWED. THE BINDING SHEET INCLUDES A SECTION TAPERED IN THICKNESS FROM AT LEAST THE LEADING EDGE OF THE OPENING TO AT LEAST THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE OPENING FOR COOPERATING WITH THE PRESSURE-APPLYING MEMBERS TO CONTROL THE THICKNESS OF THE LAYER OF LIQUID AND IS FORMED OF A UNIFORMLY THICK SUPPORT AND A PIGMENT-CONTAINING COATING WHICH IS TAPERED IN THICKNESS.

TL;DR: In this article, a photographic film cassette comprising externally powered film takeup and supply reels is described, where a strip of initially unexposed film is stored on the supply reel and passes to the takeup reel by way of a film gate, for exposure of the film, under camera control.
Abstract: A photographic film cassette comprising externally powered film takeup and supply reels. A strip of initially unexposed film is stored on the supply reel and passes to the takeup reel by way of a film gate, for exposure of the film, under camera control. The cassette includes a housing enclosing the supply and takeup reels and a processing system including a supply of film composition for processing the film after its exposure. The processing system responds to the position and direction of motion of the film to process it during its first rewind onto the supply spool, in an operating sequence determined by elements within the cassette housing that cause the processor to engage the film, release the processing composition, coat the film, and then disengage the processor.

TL;DR: In this article, an automatic return mechanism for a manually adjustable trim assembly is provided for use in conjunction with a camera having an automatic exposure control system, which includes a number of housing members interconnected for mutual movement between an erected configuration and a folded configuration for convenient carrying and storage.
Abstract: An automatic return mechanism for a manually adjustable trim assembly is provided for use in conjunction with a camera having an automatic exposure control system. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the camera is foldable and includes a number of housing members interconnected for mutual movement between an erected configuration and a folded configuration for convenient carrying and storage. The automatic return mechanism is disposed within one of the housing members and operates in response to return of the camera into its folded configuration.

TL;DR: In this article, a multilayer silver halide film is laminated to an image-receiving sheet having a cellulose triacetate backing using cellulose acetate hydrogen phthalate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate and vinyl acetate polymers in step (2) and hydroxypropyl cellulose in step(3) and using the apparatus disclosed in Specification 1,281,590.1292183 Photographic film units.
Abstract: 1292183 Photographic film units POLAROID CORP 5 March 1970 [6 March 1969] 10702/70 Heading G2C Photographic film units which include a first photo-sensitive sheet and a second sheet and are particularly for multi-colour diffusion transfer processes are prepared by a process comprising (1) coating a support with a silver halide emulsion layer to form the first sheet (2) coating either the emulsion layer of the second sheet with a non-aqueous solution of a polymer which is soluble in aqueous alkali and drying, (3) laminating the sheets together using an aqueous solution of a film-forming polymer and drying. The bond at the margin of the laminate along an edge at a layer between the silver halide layer and the imagereceiving layer may be delaminated or weakened. Specifically a multilayer silver halide film is laminated to an image-receiving sheet having a cellulose triacetate backing using cellulose acetate hydrogen phthalate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate and vinyl acetate polymers in step (2) and hydroxypropyl cellulose in step (3) and using the apparatus disclosed in Specification 1,281,590.
