Enhanced Raman scattering provided by fullerene nanoclusters

TL;DR: In this article, two nonlinear optic effects are observed in crystalline solutions of fullerenes in toluene and carbon tetrachloride, which are provided by a self-clustering of the solute molecules and are referred to as fullereneenhanced Raman scattering and solvent-enhanced luminescence.

Stepwise Computational Synthesis of Fullerene C60 derivatives. 2.Hydrogenated Fullerenes from C60 to C60H60

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the Hartree-Fock approach for sequential addition of hydrogen molecules to the fullerene cage following the indication of the cage target atoms by the highest atomic chemical susceptibility calculated at each step.

Virtual spectrometer for stable radicals vibrations. 2. Graphene molecules

TL;DR: In this paper, an extended in silico experiment on computational vibrational spectroscopy of graphene molecules performed using the UHF VVS has been presented, and the obtained spectra give the first idea of what these spectra could be.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutron scattering from water adsorbed on ultrafine nickel particles

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified NDDO method was applied to the Ni cluster calculations, and the amplitude-weighted density of vibrational states spectrum for (Ni 11 +H 2 O) clusters fits the experimental inelastic neutron scattering spectrum obtained at 80 K well for highly dispersed Ni particles covered with water.
