Journal ArticleDOI
A Comparison of Repeated High Doses and Repeated Standard Doses of Epinephrine for Cardiac Arrest Outside the Hospital
Pierre-Yves Gueugniaud,Pierre Mols,Patrick Goldstein,Emmanuel Pham,Pierre-Yves Dubien,Carine Deweerdt,Michel Vergnion,Paul Petit,Pierre Carli +8 more
TL;DR: A prospective, multicenter, randomized study comparing repeated high doses of epinephrine with repeated standard doses in cases of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, which showed a return of spontaneous circulation in the high-dose group.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Comparison of Repeated High Doses and Repeated Standard Doses of Epinephrine for Cardiac Arrest Outside the Hospital
Pierre-Yves Gueugniaud,Pierre Mols,Patrick Goldstein,Emmanuel Pham,Pierre-Yves Dubien,Carine Deweerdt,Michel Vergnion,Paul Petit,Pierre Carli +8 more
TL;DR: Long-term survival after cardiac arrest outside the hospital was no better with repeated high doses of epinephrine than with repeated standard doses, and high-dose epine cortisol improved the rate of successful resuscitation in patients with asystole, but not in those with ventricular fibrillation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Standard doses versus repeated high doses of epinephrine in cardiac arrest outside the hospital.
Catherine Choux,Pierre-Yves Gueugniaud,Alain Barbieux,Emmanuel Pham,Claude Lae,Pierre-Yves Dubien,Paul Petit +6 more
TL;DR: The results of this study are not statistically significant, but there is a marginal trend towards repeated 5 mg epinephrine doses, and a large French multicentre study is now necessary.
Journal ArticleDOI
Does the prognosis of cardiac arrest differ in trauma patients
Jean-Stéphane David,Pierre-Yves Gueugniaud,Bruno Riou,Emmanuel Pham,Pierre-Yves Dubien,Patrick Goldstein,Marc Freysz,Paul Petit +7 more
TL;DR: The survival and neurologic outcome of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest were not different between trauma and medical patients, suggesting that, under the supervision of senior physicians, active resuscitation after out- of- hospital cardiac arrest is as important in trauma as in medical patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Brûlés graves: état hémodynamique, transport et consommation d'oxygène, cytokines plasmatiques
Pierre-Yves Gueugniaud,B. Vilasco,Emmanuel Pham,C. Hirschauer,C. Bouchard,A Fabreguette,M. Bertin-Maghit,P. Petit +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyse the variations of profils hemodynamiques and oxymetriques mesures par catheterisme cardiaque droit and rechercher une relation avec the modifications des concentrations plasmatiques de cytokines au cours de la phase initiale de la reanimation des brules graves.
