TL;DR: The findings suggest that leadership can be developed through specific educational activities, and by modelling and practising leadership competencies, however, the relatively weak study designs provide limited evidence for specific factors that could increase the effectiveness of current nursing leadership or guide the identification of future nurse leaders.

Incorporating a research apprenticeship model in a Canadian nursing Honors Program

TL;DR: It is concluded that an apprenticeship model providing students with experiential research learning with established faculty researchers is an effective and efficient way to deliver the Honors Program in the context of a research-intensive nursing faculty.
