A disposable, inexpensive, multi-purpose stake of V-shape horizontal cross section having a sharpened end for penetrating the earth and a flat end for driving therein with a plurality of spaced apertures spaced along its length and a flange extending outwardly from the free ends of each of the legs of said ''''V'''' and interchangeable attachments to be used thereon either as a screed support for concrete flat work, as a nail stake for concrete form board installations, as a tent tethering peg, or as a grade stake having a simple attachment of a banner thereto.

Multi-purpose stake

A metal concrete joint form is shown supported on a plurality of interlocking metal stakes for providing a positive, vertically-adjustable, strong locking action between these members. The top end of each stake is flattened and it has a plurality of closely-spaced vertically arranged serrations or ratchet formed on one side thereof. The concrete joint form is an elongated sheet metal member having an inverted hook portion at the top edge of the form with a downturned flange that has its lower edge hemmed on the inside and then folded outwardly to create an upwardly-inclined raw edge of the hem of the flange to serve as a locking pawl for cooperating with the vertical row of serrations or ratchet.

Metal concrete joint form and adjustable stakes

A key joint forming strip and supporting stake therefor wherein the upper portion of the strip includes a hook segment engageable with a supporting ledge on the upper end of the stake and the intermediate portion of the stake includes a downwardly facing hook engageable with a protrusion on a lower portion of the strip. In use, the hook segment is first engaged with the ledge and then the lower portion of the strip is forced against the stake to engage the protrusion beneath the downwardly facing hook. Once so engaged, the strip is held in place between the ledge and the hook.

A wood-form splice stake includes an elongated stake member having a lower end adapted to be driven into the ground. A pair of flat flanges extend laterally outwardly in opposite directions from the upper end of the stake member for securement to respective adjacent ends of aligned concrete form boards for maintaining them in alignment and securing them against relative vertical movement. The stakes are preferably formed so as to be stackable in nested relation. A stake carrier includes an elongated base having an upstanding post insertable through aligned pull holes in the stacked stake members. The other ends of the stake members are confined between upstanding legs on the base plate to prevent pivotal movement about the post. A lock device is operatively associated with the post for releasably locking the stakes against removal from the post. Metal-to-wood form adapters are provided for aligning and supporting wood form boards relative to conventional metal forms.

A joint member for concrete slabs embodying a vertical stake carrying an ear extending upwardly alongside and in spaced relation to the stake for receiving therebetween a portion of a screed sheet. A barb carried by the ear extends toward the stake and cuts into a side of the screed sheet inserted therebetween.
