High Power Density Thermoelectric Generators with Skutterudites

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used skutterudites as a proof-of-principle for the construction of TEGs with 1 mm-thick metallic layers and achieved a power-density of 7.6 W cm−2 under temperature differences varying between 450 and 630 K.

Improved thermoelectric element and thermoelectric converter including at least one such element

TL;DR: In this paper, a thermoelectric element was designed for a thermodynamic converter, including an assembly of constituent layers comprising a central layer made of either p- or n-type material, and on each side of the central layer, an intermediate layer forming a diffusion barrier followed by a buffer layer made by composite metal material, which were intended to be securely fastened to metal electrodes.
