Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of pathologic complete response using image-guided biopsy after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer patients selected based on MRI findings: a prospective feasibility trial
Han-Byoel Lee,Han-Byoel Lee,Han-Byoel Lee,Wonshik Han,Wonshik Han,Wonshik Han,Soo Yeon Kim,Nariya Cho,Kyoung Eun Kim,Jung Hyun Park,YW Ju,Eun Shin Lee,Sung Joon Lim,Jung Ho Kim,Han Suk Ryu,Dae Won Lee,Miso Kim,Tae Yong Kim,Kyung Hun Lee,Kyung Hun Lee,Sung Ui Shin,Su Hyun Lee,Jung Min Chang,Hyeong-Gon Moon,Hyeong-Gon Moon,Seock-Ah Im,Seock-Ah Im,Woo Kyung Moon,Woo Kyung Moon,In Ae Park,Dong Young Noh,Dong Young Noh +31 more
TL;DR: Investigation using stringent MRI criteria and ultrasound-guided biopsy could accurately predict patients with pCR after NAC and a larger prospective clinical trial evaluating the clinical safety of breast surgery omission after Nac in selected patients will be conducted based on these findings.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Value of Ki67 in Very Young Women with Hormone Receptor-Positive Breast Cancer: Retrospective Analysis of 9,321 Korean Women
Jisun Kim,Wonshik Han,So-Youn Jung,Yeon Hee Park,Hyeong-Gon Moon,Soo Kyung Ahn,Jun Woo Lee,Min Kyoon Kim,Jongjin Kim,Eun Shin Lee,Tae Kyung You,Han-Sung Kang,Eun Sook Lee,Jungsil Ro,Jeong Eon Lee,Seok Jin Nam,Young-Hyuck Yim,In Ae Park,Dong-Young Noh +18 more
TL;DR: Although young age was a worse prognostic indicator regardless of HER2 status, Ki67 index was associated with worse prognosis only in HER2-negative patients, and very young patients had a poorer prognosis regardless of Ki67 level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of Germline Mutations in Breast Cancer Patients with Clinical Features of Hereditary Cancer Syndrome Using a Multi-Gene Panel Test.
Hee Chul Shin,Han-Byoel Lee,Tae Kyung Yoo,Eun Shin Lee,Ryong Nam Kim,Boyoung Park,Kyong Ah Yoon,Charny Park,Eun Sook Lee,Hyeong-Gon Moon,Dong Young Noh,Sun-Young Kong,Wonshik Han +12 more
TL;DR: NGS-based multiple-gene panel testing improved the detection rates of deleterious mutations and provided a cost-effective cancer risk assessment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transfer-RNA-mediated enhancement of ribosomal proteins S6 kinases signaling for cell proliferation.
Nam Hoon Kwon,Mi Ran Lee,Jiwon Kong,Seung Kyun Park,Byung Joon Hwang,Byung-Gyu Kim,Eun Shin Lee,Hyeong-Gon Moon,Sunghoon Kim +8 more
TL;DR: It is shown that phosphorylation of 90-kDa RPS6K (ribosomal proteins S6 kinase) was enhanced by tRNALeu overexpression under amino acids starvation condition, suggesting a possible link between tRNaleu overeexpression and RSK1/MSK2 activation and ErbB2/ErbB3 signaling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors on the risk of acute coronary syndrome in elderly breast cancer patients: An analysis of nationwide data
Sung Hyouk Choi,Kyoung Eun Kim,Yujin Park,YW Ju,Ji Gwang Jung,Eun Shin Lee,Han-Byoel Lee,Wonshik Han,Dong Young Noh,Hyung Jin Yoon,Hyeong-Gon Moon +10 more
TL;DR: The results can guide the selection of adjuvant hormonal treatment agents for Korean breast cancer patients based on their risk of developing CVE and the protective effect of tamoxifen against CVE that is not seen with AIs is supported.
