Principles and Techniques of Electron Microscopy
TL;DR: The principles of microscopy principles in light microscopy scanning techniques in electron microscopy and their applications in transmission/scanning and digital holographic microscopy are explained.
Journal ArticleDOI
Advanced Techniques in Biological Electron Microscopy
TL;DR: This paper presents a method for measuring the activity of serum alkaline phosphatase using an optical refractometer and a "kinetic" method suitable for automation developed by D. Seligson in 1958.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrastructure of altered hepatocytes induced by diethylnitrosamine (DENA).
TL;DR: Administration of diethylnitrosamine I.P. at dose level of 2 mg/kg five days a week to young Sprague-Dawley rats induced foci of altered hepatocytes entirely devoid of glucose-6-phosphatase and adenosine triph phosphatase activity, which resulted in pronounced cirrhotic nodules in addition to multiple hepatocellular carcinoma.
