Homoepitaxial growth of non-polar ZnO (112¯0) films on off-angle ZnO substrates by MOCVD

TL;DR: Homoepitaxial ZnO (1120) films were successfully prepared on single crystal Zn2 substrates with off-angles of 0°, 1°, 2° and 3° toward the [1100] direction by using an atmospheric pressure MOCVD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Applicability of ZnO single crystals for ultraviolet sensors

TL;DR: In this paper, the photoresponces of ZnO single crystals of the c-plane showed higher photocurrents and wider spectral response than did Zn-faces.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of non-polar ZnO (112¯0) films deposited on single crystal ZnO (112¯0) and sapphire (011¯2) substrates

TL;DR: In this article, homo-and hetero-epitaxial growth of non-polar Zinc oxide (ZnO) (1 120) films was achieved on single crystal ZnO (1120) and sapphire (0 1 12) substrates by an atmospheric pressure metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) using zinc acetylacetonate and oxygen gas.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoluminescence properties of nitrogen-doped ZnO films deposited on ZnO single crystal substrates by the plasma-assisted reactive evaporation method

TL;DR: In this article, the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of nitrogen-doped ZnO films (ZnO:N films) grown epitaxially on n-type single crystal substrates by using the plasma-assisted reactive evaporation method were measured at 5 K. In PL spectra, free exciton emission at about 3.375 eV was very strong and emissions at 3.31 eV were observed.
