CONSTITUTION:A formed water lens 11 is formed of flat light transmission member 11b formed of glass or resin having a water channel 11c confronting a plurality of light incident members 11a. On the other hand, a plurality of solar cells 3 are placed on a solar cell support 14 so as to be disposed at the focuses of the water lenses. Thus, the similar light collecting efficiency to the optical convex lens can be carried out with the members 11a and water having approximately equal light refractive index to that of the members 11a, and can also be formed remarkably inexpensively. When the solar light rays 6 collected via the water lenses pass the water, a part of the heat ray energy of the solar light rays is absorbed to the water 16 to convert the energy, and accordingly the solar cells 3 can be protected against the high temperature damage.

A substrate 1 is fed to the predetermined position A, the end of the pin 24 is introduced into a postioning hole 1a, is then fed in the X2-axis direction to the next step, is raised in the Z3-axis direction, and is then returned in X4-axis direction. Even if he pin is fed without ynchronization, the pin 24 is adapted to be pushed out in the feeding direction with a member 22 retarded at a distance B against a spring 23, the pin 24 is not bent, and the pin is introduced into the hole 1b by the next rectangular motion of the support to feed the substrate 1. Even if the substrate is excessively fed to pass the predetermined position A, the pin 24 has an allowance of the movement C of a spring 25, which does not damage the upper surface of the substrate, but the pin is dropped into the hole by the X2-axis movement, and the substrate 1 is thus fed. In this manner, the substrate can be effectively fed without damage.

Photodetector 10 such as photodiode is set to detect the light shielding or incident state as an on-off electric signal. Thus, a submerged light reflecting mirror with high endurance can be obtd. without exerting unfavorable influence on the aqueous soln. of a chemicals producing apparatus, etc.

CONSTITUTION:The pulse trains produced from a reference signal generating circuit 1 are switched alternately and the upper and lower stage reading laser diodes 7 and 8 are driven for emission of the pulse train type chopping light beams. These beams are received by a photoelectric transducer 12 to be converted into electric signals with amplification, then sent to the upper and lower gate reading gate circuits 14 and 15. These electric signals are sorted alternately into the upper and lower bar code outputs 16 and 17 by the pulse sent from a stage switch signal circuit 4. Thus it is possible to read simultaneously the bar codes of both stages just by sweeping a slide optical table by a single time.
