Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation water treatment system of a cooling tower capable of efficiently removing fouling causative substances.SOLUTION: The circulation water treatment system of a cooling tower according to the present invention is equipped with an open type cooling tower for cooling a circulation water for cooling a device to be cooled and supplying cooled circulation water to the device to be cooled, a circulation line for circulating the circulation water between the cooling tower and the device to be cooled, an adsorption device for adsorbing and removing fouling causative substances contained in the circulation water, an adsorption line for supplying the circulation water to the adsorption device, a membrane filtration device for separating the adsorption treated water obtained by removing fouling causative substances contained in the circulation water supplied from the adsorption line by the adsorption device into concentrated water and filtration treated water and a treated water supply line for supplying the filtration treated water from the membrane filtration device to the circulation line. The adsorption device is a hydrophilic polymer adsorbent to which chemical adsorptive functional group is introduced, has swelling degree in 25°C water of 20 to 400% and is equipped with a hydrophilic polymer adsorbent excellent in adhesiveness of the fouling causative substances in the circulation water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acid recovery method using an ion-exchange membrane which is capable of efficiently recovering acid from a waste acid liquid, has high durability and hardly deteriorates an ion exchange performance even if an electrodialyzer is operated for a long time.SOLUTION: There is provided an acid recovery method using the cation and anion exchange membranes by electrodialysis.
