PURPOSE:To protect the security of menu display in a work station by selecting menu display on the basis of a password in accordance with an operator. CONSTITUTION:A list of program numbers and program titles fed to individual application programs 2-6 is stored in a menu table 8. Passwords are assigned to persons who are permitted to operate this system, and passwords are inputted when the system is started. A password correspondence table 9 indicates application programs which individual operators are permitted to use, and a menu flag is set at the intersection between a row of the password of a pertinent operator and a column of the application program, which he can use, out of intersections between rows of passwords fed to individual operators and columns corresponding to individual application programs. Thus, the security is protected.

Method for selective menu display based on password

PURPOSE:To prevent a fault due to misoperation in an electronic switchboard, by giving a pass word to each maintainer in response to the in work department and the level of expertness, and checking the pass work for an important command to control feed and execution of this command. CONSTITUTION:A main memory MM has a program part PRG which contains a prescribed pass word command program PWC in addition to a normal program. A pass word checking part PWK is added to a normal command analysis program CMDA. A certain maintainer applies the corresponding pass word ''AA'' by a pass word command PSW and through a typewriter at a maintenance department CTG1. A central processor recives the command PSW via a channel CH and then starts the program PWC to convert and discriminate the corresponding category (maintenance department) and expertness level V1 from a pass word table PW. Then the coincidence is detected with the category of the corresponding typewriter. In addition, an inspection is executed to decide whether or not a memory writing command, etc. can be permitted at its level.

Command controlling system

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of the development of a software concerning data protection in an additional system by constituting a titled system in such a way that a work task processing is executed after a user table is retrieved, the propriety of operation is judged, and the using right of a work is checked CONSTITUTION:A user code, a pass word and work code data inputted from a terminal equipment 1-9 are read and are given to a conversion part 1-3 through a terminal control part 1-11 and an on line control part 1-13 The conversion part 1-3 retrieves the user table 1-1 based on the user code, verifies the pass word and judges the propriety of the use of an on line system Next, the propriety of the using right for executing the selected work is verified with respect to the user, and the propriety of the use of the selected work is judged If it can be used, the start of the work processing is instructed to a work task 1-5 Thus, user information can be controlled unitary and the processing can be made efficient

System for data security

PURPOSE:To constitute so that operation is not executed unpreparedly by a command inputted from the outside, by providing a means for checking whether it is allowed or not to process the inputted command by the processing part, when the command has been inputted to a job pocessing part. CONSTITUTION:when a command is inputted and has been inputted to a job processing part, whether it is allowed or not to process the inputted command bt its job processing part is checked, and after that is is executed. For instance, a data, etc. are inputted by a keyboard KB, are transferred to a processing part PRU selected by a selecting part SW, parameter tables PTA, PTB are read out by a checking pat COMP of PRU, and a data, a command, etc. which have been inputted are checked in accordance with a parameter stored in PTA and PTB. Subsequently, as a result of checking, when the data and the command are valid, a terminal Y is raised, an AND gate part A is released and inputted to a processing unit PU, and if they are not valid, a terminal N is raised, an alarm display part AL is operated through the selecting part SW, and an alarm signal is outputted.

Input controlling system

PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of system resources by transferring plural messages inputted from a terminal to a user's program after temporarily storing them in an input message hold queue. CONSTITUTION:Messages 8 and 10 inputted from a terminal 1 are queued in an input message hole queue 11 through an input message processing process 2. After the input of messages 8 and 10, the first message 8 is automatically transferred from the queue 11 to an input message queue 5. When the message 8 comes to the head of the queue 5, a user's program scheduler 3 starts a user's program 4 whose start is requested, and the program 4 reads in the message 8 queued in the queue 5 by a message read command 7. The program 4 reads in the message 10 queued in the queue 11 by a message input command 9 to process plural messages.

Message input device

PURPOSE:To fix and shorten the time of access to a command by constituting a hierarchy group of users which can use a system on the basis of attributes of users and then by making them to correspond to a group of usable commands. CONSTITUTION:A user inputs a user's name and specific password to keyboard 1 to send a connection request to system controller 2. Controller 2 outputs the user's name and password to user discriminator 3. Discriminator 3 receives user list 4 stored in an external memory unit to attain the matching of the user's name and check on the password from controller 2 and when the both agree, the information is outputted to controller 2. Controller 2 moves the control to command controller 6 and the user inputs a command. Controller 6 collates command list 7 with the input command and when the both agree, information on the group of users corresponding to the command is extracted. This information and user information stored in controller 2 are AND-ed and the execution of the command from the user is permitted.
