Polarized self-attention: Towards high-quality pixel-wise mapping

TL;DR: In this paper , the Polarized Self-Attention (PSA) block was proposed to solve the pixel-wise mapping problem in fine-grained computer vision tasks, such as estimating keypoint heatmaps and segmentation masks.

Polarized Self-Attention: Towards High-quality Pixel-wise Regression.

TL;DR: Polarized self-attention (PSA) as mentioned in this paper is proposed for pixel-wise regression, which keeps high internal resolution in both channel and spatial attention computation while completely collapsing input tensors along their counterpart dimensions.
